Sometimes, they just try to phish for your contact info. This is were a free Google Voice No. comes in handy. It just forwards calls to your real phone number(s). You can also send callers you don't want automatically to voicemail, or block them completely.

I always include a Google phone no. with my Craiglist(CL) ads. If CL blocks it, just overlay the phone no. on all your photos. My experience has been that serious buyers will want to call or text you. Those with a passing interest tend to email. It's also helpful in avoiding scammers as they don't want to reveal their phone no. which is easier to trace back then email.

I will be putting it on RVT soon. That way hopefully won't have to deal with responses like I got this morning from Craigslist.....

LOL, I emailed him back this morning with my phone number, which was in the CL contact info. As I figured, I never heard back. Where do these people come from???

They will try to upsell, but resist and you can list it for free with a few pictures.

You might be able to see some comparable units there also.

The posted domain RVSellernetworks.com is actually not registered, and available.

I know the correct domain but won't post it here. Why give them any further advertising as it appears they're violating the telemarketing laws according the OP?

Another thing to post with your ad, there is no Nevada sales tax to buyers when purchasing from a private party. For me that is the only way to go, and it saves a lot of dollars. Dick

Thanks Dan, like I said above, it has only been on CL for two days, it's a holiday weekend, we're out in the boonies, plus it has been 100 degrees the past few days, which doesn't help. Absolutely no hurry to sell it, just got a hair up my butt to get a 31 footer. It's paid for and living under cover so no hurry at all, and I won't be calling those guys.

Yours may NOT be overpriced.
I sold one similar to yours in April also on Craigslist, even had new tires also. My ad was similar to your with lots of good pictures.
It was a 2011, lots of options and updates, low miles, excellent condition.
Priced lower side of NADA, although I did not use that to come up with my selling price. I priced it based on other rigs advertised or sold in my area.
Mine was a 32 footer though so I cannot comment on your price.

I watched quite a few motorhomes sell on craigslist while I only got a few calls.

What I found is that there are not many (if any) others for sale that are comparable as far as year, mileage, condition. The cheaper ones that were selling on CL were older, very high mileage, poor shape.

There were some for sale at dealers for the same price as mine with very high miles, few options and not great shape.

I think it takes a certain kind of buyer for rigs like ours. A younger successful couple with a couple of children that wanted a very nice dependable motorhome contacted us. They also had the financial means to pay for the rig. They wanted one ready to go, not something that might need work. We worked out a deal that we were both happy with. John, if you are reading this, hope you guys are enjoying the rig.

Not sure how long yours has been listed or how large your local market is, but hopefully that right buyer will come along for you.

I already commented about that third party you mentioned. Don't do it.

But it is about selling your RV, and with it listed on the internet, if you are not getting any calls it is because it is priced too high. If there are literally no other rigs like yours available for sale, that might mean yours is not a very desireable make/model/floorplan/options mix. They may have sold very few to begin with. You can easily cast a wider net, and you might generate some interest, but remember, the further away someone is from you, the better the deal they are going to want. Not many people are going to pay top dollar for something they have to travel 2000 miles to pick up unless it is something really special and most RVs are not really that different one to the next.

Ok, my MH has only been on CL for two days, plus it gets buried fast because of endless dealer ads. Unless they are strictly looking for private party sales. Plus, I am in a rural area 60 miles from the nearest city, which is Reno and that is certainly no metropolis.

I am in no hurry to sell, and do not have to, so will not give it away. But this thread is not to complain about it not selling, but to see if anyone has used these 3rd parties to sell their vehicles and was it worth it. So far, the consensus is not to deal with them.
