Safe Campsite in New Orleans

I stayed at Ponchartrain Landing one night while passing through a year ago. I have a daughter and son-in-law who live in New Orleans and I wanted to visit while passing through the area.

I had no problems and no complaints about the campground, except that my Tomtom had some problems finding it.

We like Poncatrain Landing. It is safe and a nice campground. Just a short shuttle trip or drive to the French Quarter.

Take a look at Jude Travel Park. We were there a couple years ago - owners were great - left the rig there, shuttle into the city and back. Still only $30/night. Would use that park again! ST

Bayou Signet is in Westwego, LA. Just in case you need to google it. Not Oswego.

NO KOA

We are not KOA lovers by any means, but we stay in the KOA which is a ways out of Downtown area. We have always felt very comfortable there.
