Safe to charge battery while connected to shore power

My battery needs a good charge and I was going to charge it with my portable charger. Any issues of charging the battery while it is still hooked up on the camper and I am hooked up to shore power? ...

X2, why do you think the battery needs charging? While you are plugged in you are not actually even using the battery, the converter is providing all power (it's voltage is higher than the battery so the battery isn't contributing anything). Is your battery disconnect connected?
