WOW! Talk about thread hijacking! ANYWAY, back to the OP. Yes, an extra smoke alarm is an awesome plan. We have also added three(yes, three)additional fire extinguishers in the RV including one totally overkill big-a$$ed one in the bedroom as an attempt to buy an extra 5 seconds of time and life so that we can bail outta the emergency exit. Gawd, I hope we never have to use any of these things. Have you ever looked at that woefully inadequate fire extinguisher thing the Mfr provides and think REALLY, WTF were they thinking and or smoking?
