I read this entire thread, and Im still kinda confused on what the OP wants and expects. Seems like he/she BELIEVES that he/she will have to pay for the TT before they travel up to look at it and inspect it. That's the first mistake, and since they have experience with 9 RV's/TT's, it makes me wonder.. Did I misunderstand, or is this your/their belief? Why are you thinking you have to pay cash before you complete the full inspection and it is prepped to your satisfaction?
Secondly, as many others have pointed out, you should not want to rush delivery prep. Give them sufficient time to get all the issues resolved. We all know there are a hundred little things that may not meet or expectations and need to be fixed. To make them rush through that is unrealistic and ridiculous at best.
Someone mentioned that the dealer probably doesn't think you are a serious buyer. I think that may be an accurate assessment.

I believe the OP was planning on driving to the dealer to look at one particular RV and if she approved of the "fit and finish" she would purchase it right then and there and then expect to drive it home that same day.
That's what I thought.. so I stand by mine (and others) unrealistic expectations.
