After 5 pages one thing just really puzzles me. Who cares if it's salesperson Switcheroo. When I walk into a dealer for the purposes of buying (not looking), I already know what I want and how much I will pay for it. I don't care if it's the business owner himself or the floor sweeper that sells me the unit. I then read the written contract and make sure I am getting what I want for the price I want. Then the deal ain't final until I get delivery and do my inspection. Why is this so complicated for some people?
But then again, I wouldn't expect them to be able to make final delivery on the same day I was buying. That just puts you in the position of having to accept something that is less then you want. They need time to meet my expectations. Even then you can expect them to fudge things. When I went to pick up my last unit, there was several things that they had not done. I told them I would sit in the waiting room until they got it right. But, I made the appointment at 9:00 a.m. on a day I could sit and wait for them to get it right all day long if need be. They had no desire to leave me in the waiting room talking to their customers.
