The issue was elevated in San Diego a few month's ago when someone living in a delapidated motorhome parked it in on a residential street and it caught on fire. This resulted in the home it was parked in front of catching on fire and receiving extensive damage. I think the city council realizes the ordinance will require some changes as the effects of the ordinace are realized and changes that protect property owners rights to access their RV's should be part of that discussion. Surfride should contact Councilman Gloria and speak to how his needs can be met by future changes or amendments to the ordinance. If no one speaks nothing will change. Meanwhile if you are planning on visiting the city of San Diego and parking your RV in front of a relatives house during your visit, forget about it.
