I also have a Pathway X2. I don't believe there is a thing wrong with a Tailgater, but the X2 just gives you more bang for your buck for all the reasons that Dutch_12078 states.
I fulltime and have been using mine for about a year now and it's never failed me.
* If you have an Iphone, I suggest you get an app that will help find the satellites. "Dish For My RV" costs $5 and uses your phone's camera to project the locations of both the Eastern arc and Western arc satellites onto the sky when you point the phone at the southern sky. Then just set the sat dish so it has a clear shot at them. Works great for me.
