- buckyExplorer IIIt probably tows as well as our first couple of TTs.
- PapPappyExplorerI don't tow, but don't really see what the issue would be between this and other trailers. Aren't most basically just wind blocks behind the TV? Seems like this would be pretty nice, and as mentioned, they got some additional miles out of it....though I have to say that I'd guess that the conversion (and it looks pretty nice) would cost about as much as replacement canvas.
Of course, most folks that have a TT, want one because it's got a bathroom...which is missing in this one....so I doubt I'd invest in it! - rexlionExplorerSeems like it would have a lot of potential leak points. I might like something like that if it still folded up, though. I just would not want to tow it in the up position like that.
- old_guyExplorergot every thing but pontoons
- robsouthExplorer III have seen several of those conversions. A friend in Valdosta, GA did one a few years back and had the front in the shape of a "V" with the tongue extended a few feet. It was really quite nice and he used it a lot. Much better than dealing with the popup.
- BobboExplorer IIII think I would have just bought a new canvas.
- D___MExplorerRed...red...red...red...redneck. LOL
This guy gets an "A" for ingenuity. It's not too aerodynamic, but it is a good way to recycle. - d3500ramExplorer IIISaw one a couple of years ago here on the Denver CL's... Not sure how well that thing would tow going down the road though???
- shakyjayExplorer IIFirst time I have ever seen it done. Very creative thinking. Great way to get some added mileage from it.
