Thanks all for the responses. The man door is the entry door to the coach as stated and yes all the doors were locked. It very well could have been an animal, I just know that it was not any kind of vegetation. My wife does carry her .38 pistol everywhere and she has a concealed licensed too, but there was no need for it's use. This will not stop us from boondocking, but we may not stay in such isolated places. Thanks all - Dale
