The ability to just hop into the driver's seat and drive away was a main reason for my getting a MH. I like the ability to "get out of Dodge" if there's trouble.
So far, I haven't had any situation like that when camping. If I do, I hope that I'll be able to remain calm enough to make decisions appropriate for the situation - rather than creating a bigger problem through bad decisions.
