The LEO doing a check of a strange vehicle in a strange place would be real impressed by that sound too.
And you point is ? You are probably right but no LEO in their right mind would do what the OP describes. A LEO would know exactly what that sound was and immediately identify him/her self. A LEO has no right to scratch at my door and scare people.
