Scared of the wind
I have been towing fifth wheels for about 13yrs & never was concerned but I now know of two ppl who lost their rigs when blown over by the wind. Anyone know what kind of wind gust it takes to do that?

Many times when people are blown over by wind, they have actually contributed to the entire debacle with how they respond to the wind gust.
Most people when hit with a hard gust of wind that SEEMS to move their trailer more than is safe will turn INTO the wind...
When hit by a big gust and you can see your trailer lifting turn DOWN WIND (with the wind and keep pressure on the accelerator. Slowing down and turning into the wind shifts the weight and center of gravity of your trailer and truck in such a way as to make it far easier to be tipped over.
