Anyone out there take scooter/mopeds (under 50cc) with them? For those that do, any problem with riding them legally in any of the states? I'm mainly talking about those that go under 30mph and th...

The small motorcycle idea might be a good alternative. But of course would require a motorcycle endorsement, and insurance. And I have seen some scooters that can keep up with traffic. Might look at them. I wouldn't mind having one of those to ride to work.
BTW. In our town, you can ride golf carts on the city streets, once you get a permit. But I wouldn't ride one of them on 321 either. But not a lot of difference really.
Because they ride them doesn't mean they are supposed to. As the person mentioned about in Georgia, here in nc your not supposed to ride them anywhere over 35mph speed limit.
The State Troopers allow it, as do the Deputies. So whether or not they are supposed to. they do.
