I have researched this because I have 2 Honda Ruckus on order for our FL trip for my wife and I. The DMV jurisdiction of your home state is honored in the state you visit. It is a good idea to make a copy of that DMV information and keep it with you in case you do get pulled over. It is ALWAYS a good idea to wear a helmet. If you use your head, stay on the RH SIDE OF THE ROADS, and don't act stupid, you should be fine. I look forward to drives down the beach in Daytona as well as some rides up the coast on the lesser traveled roads enjoying the sun. If you leave the scooters stock they are shockingly quiet and shouldn't disturb anyone at the camp grounds.
