So, I've been doing some further reading through Ron Gratz's WDH sticky thread (but boy is it long and somewhat confusing). If I'm understanding it correctly, a WDH with 1000lb spring bars properly tensioned and a tongue-to-trailer-axle distance of 200" could be expected to redistribute approximately 300lb of the tongue weight back to the travel trailer axles, correct? So a tongue weight of 800lb might only apply 500lb to the tow vehicle (assuming the trailer has approximately the same dimensions as the example)? If true, that would sure seem to help in my situation.
