Some good direction given here. I also understand the vehicle dilemma. One thing that can help
on a marginally capable TV is to upgrade the tires. If you have P rated tires consider moving up to a D or E rating. The stiffer sidewall can make it handle much better. Also consider upgrading the shocks. A set of Bilsteins or something comperable can make lots of difference. Good luck and I hope you can find a good match for your situation.
