Ahhhh - you mean, the gen should be out of SIGHT to keep it on your camp SITE...;)
When you run it - anyone can here (oops!) it and will know it's on site,
even though it's out of sight...:W
So when you're at the big tent, it may still be on someone's radar.
Sooooooo - theft *prevention* (may) go a long way, day or night.
And - for a portable gen at places like Q, a "cheapie" gen has bad features (noise) - but good features (less desirable) for growing legs.
And - I only said it ONCE.
