That's one of those things that looks good on paper, but in reality, it pointless. IMO.
No room to roll the logs or re-position them to keep the fire going. I use a set of scissor type fire place tongs ( have 2, 1 for trailer and one for home fire pit) to grab the logs and place them however, and wherever I want. Plus what others have said. The logs waiting in the queue will eventually ignite before they drop.
