Self feeding CG fire log holder??

It's bad enough having to use an ugly fire ring without adding to it.

Watched a video someone had done on a similar self feeding fire. It does work. A quick google search came up with links to a number of examples.

Yeah, I tend to think the fire would climb the logs rather than patiently wait for them to push into the pit.

Nice idea.

I think the fire would spread from log to log rather than "wait" for the next log to fall down.
BTW, that's been posted here a few times before.
