Self-washing in Nashville area

I will be moving to the Nashville area this year and will be storing my motorhome. No problem finding a storage facility, but I can't find one - or any other place - where I can wash my coach when I need to - I want to do that myself, including waxing. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • I live East of Nashville and either wash my 5th. wheel at the house but no longer like to get on the roof. I call Roscoe Wilson at Wilson's Car Butification & RV Wash. He will come to your house or where your RV is stored. He has his own water source. Does a great job.

A truck wash would probably be the best place. I must be lucky in our area in Kansas City, i'm paying $100 a month for an indoor storage unit that is 12x35 with an 11x12 overhead door. Keeps it nice and clean and out of the elements.

That is a STEAL! :) Nashville is a great town, but "proud" of its storage facilities (mini, outdoor, whatever storage - it's a premium!)

We are buying a house in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. There is a storage place within 5 miles of the house that has fully enclosed spaces that are 15' x 45' with electric for just under $100/month. I feel like I just found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

  • Just curious, where did you end up finding storage? I'm looking in the Nashville area now, but seems like most are way overpriced compared to other areas of the country. I'm just looking for uncovered, and they are charging more than what you would pay for a decent boat slip on the water for a boat!
    Thanks for any input... :)
  • Just try a big parking lot with a water spicket. They all have them. Just ask the store if you can use their water. I bet they say sure.
