I hate to be all doom and gloom, but were it me, I'd take some time off, then try to push it until retirement if possible. The economy isn't getting any better, so might as well try to make as big a nest egg as possible before another 2008 happens and there is no work to be found at all. It may get to a point where the only money you will have is what you saved up in the past.
x2 not sure $60,000 would last.
a financial professional helped us through the 2008 thing. We were tempted to bail, but he said not to, and we rebounded.
