I'd like to say that I worked longer than my wife did, but it was only half an hour. My coffee and doughnuts send off took place at 9:30 and hers was at 10:00!
Our days are filled with fun things, but the thing that has given us the most enjoyment is being part of a competitive dragon boat team. It's all female paddlers, two 48 foot long dragon boats, and about 50 members. We have three male steerspersons and our coach is also a man.
The trick to success in retirement is the giving of yourself back to bring others happiness. Those that turn inwards, and pull back from social interactions seem to have a tougher time of it.
