Another reason for both people to have a pass. One of us (not naming names) leaves "non-essential" stuff in the nightstand drawer and never remembers to put it back in. I guess to reduce the wallet thickness.
So there we are in a NFS campground filling out the site reservation paper where it asks for your pass number, which cuts the camping fee by half. Luckily the other one of us had my own senior pass in my wallet.
