I have traveled in 18 states and have called the state police in all of them asking if I could carry a gun. They said I must have a pistol permit in the ones that allowed it. Everyone of them said the same thing. They all said that a shot gun is allowed and it is looked at like my motor home is my residence. I carry a 12ga Defender in a locked case in the bedroom and the shells in the other end of the coach. That's what they want. Mine is loaded at all times. Every state ask me as a courtesy should i get pulled over to let the trooper know about the shot gun as soon as he pulls me over and everything will be fine.
