An interesting view from the perspective of a Canadian ;) ... the idea of carrying a firearm of any type while camping, or any other time for that matter, wouldn't even cross my mind. You likely wouldn't agree but unfortunately yours may be a statement on the sad state of affairs in the US as viewed by those of us living outside your borders. Sometimes you just gotta be outside the forest to see what's going on inside it. ;)
