Sensitive Issue

Don't know if this issue has ever been addressed before. However, here goes.

In my way of thinking to be out there in the country day and night inside an RV without a means of protection from the criminal element is pure stupidity. Your RV is your home away from home and should be treated the same way as your permanent home. I know that there are a myriad of conflicting state laws including laws for concealed carry. Some states, like my state of Florida, a weapon for protection is almost required by the government. In New York, not so much.

So, what do most of you people do? Do you carry a weapon in the RV anyway and hope for the best? Do you have a concealed weapon's permit which is reciprocal in many states but not all? Do you carry a shotgun or rifle, which I believe is allowed in all states? Or, how about a high powered pellet gun which I believe is legal in all states? I would imagine that this inquiry is applicable for traveling to Canada, too. :h

  • My parks are out in the country, I grew up in a small town out in the country and often spend my free time out in the country. In over 50 years I haven't had the need to shoot more than a half dozen people. That makes killing people a once in a decade event for an out in the country full timer.
If you are so afraid to be out in the country that you feel you need to be weaponized at all times, wouldn't you just be better off staying away?
