My septic cleanout is only about 25' off my driveway. Usually I pull in the yard to access it with my slinky. I am considering running an extension to the corner of the house next to the driveway. It's a pretty straight shot. Has anyone done this before? Any creative ideas? Flexible/temporary pipe, or a more permanent PVC? Pictures of your set up would be helpful.
OP, did any of this help you answer your question? LOL
It did. I think you guys are way over complicating this. I use the cleanout and have been for years. No explosions, no breaches, no fire and brimstone. C'mon guys. Really? Some of these posts are hilarious. We should close this post before someone tells me I need a hazmat suit and the bomb squad to dump my tanks. Jeez. I am simply putting an extension on it that's about 20-25' to reach the drive so I don't have to drive on to the grass. This is not rocket science. And who has a 100 gallon tank? Mine is 30 and I usually dump at 2/3. Both my tanks combined might release 40 gals. A few elbows, a length of PVC, done. I have a macerator, one built in on the 29.2 and a portable flowjet. The flowjet is fine, but you have to hookup the electric, a supply hose, a drain hose, etc etc, and then put it all back. Be nice to just pull up and dump without driving through the yard is all. I think I am done with this post. Y'all can keep spouting about the sky falling. I am going to Lowes.
