Glamping??? As a woman I know some would think that I would find this new terminology "cute". Seriously every time I read the word glamping... glamper, I want to punch someone in the face. That is the DUMBEST, dorkiest, just down right most awful term for camping that anyone has ever come up with. I just had to post to find out why? Why would anyone refer to it as that? Who invented the term? Does it make you cringe as much as it make me cringe? Sorry, had to vent.

What is Glamping? Have heard the term but no idea what it stands for.

I guess it doesn't bother me, because I have no clue what it means. It's the same as a lot of the short cut words used when texting on a phone. I don't text, because I have no clue what they mean! Every new generation comes up with new vocabulary words that the older generations have no clue what's being said.Someone tell me what this word means and then I give my opinion if it's a stupid word or not.

I guess I was taking a look at pinterest and few other sites that show really really beautiful vintage trailer renovations. And then they go an ruin it and refer to the renovated campers as "glampers". LOL It just seems so "hollywood".

GLamour cAMPING.

Its to attract yuppies so they can pay more. If you are going to charge $400 a nite, you better come up with something new to call it.

Besides, can you really call this tent camping?
