I guess not everyone got the memo :B
I think you were hoarding it. - wa8yxmExplorer IIIHow to get rid of it.
Chrome books one of the function keys bears the worm-oroboros (The circle where the head points to the tail. the worm eats its own tail)
Windows thats the F-5 Key
Or the Same icon on your browser's address bar
In short: Reload page.
Had to do it to post this in fact. - Super_DaveExplorerIn part one of the reasons that forums are going the way of the dinosaurs.
- buckyExplorer IIThis one certainly is.
The problem with FB, Twitter, Instagram, and all of the apps out there are that there are no central places. It's getting like you tube with the lame RV channels. Lots of babble, little content. - garmpExplorer IINot an issue today at all. So far.........
- 2oldmanExplorer IINo, pretty trouble-free today.
- AdminModeratorDammit
Shhhhhh!
:) - wa8yxmExplorer IIIThe problem is not enough bandwidth I suspect.. but as others have said just hit REFRESH I've had to do it a couple times twice.
True story (no this is not a political comment) Amazon sued the US government because the government gave a military contract to Microsoft and Amazon's owner seems to think he deserved the profit.
Meanwhile even as they were doing this a service I use was hosted by Amazon but due to computer overload they had to move to a new host with more bandwidth.
The service I use has one compressed digital stream coming in and it "Reflects" it in the manner of a disco mirror ball in up to about a thousand directions.
That's about the same as one video stream passed through
THEY COULD NOT HANDLE IT.. So what makes 'em think they can handle a Military work load? - dedmistonModeratorUnfortunately our options for technical escalation are limited during the pandemic. These site outage issues usually magically fix themselves when the servers are restarted to address problems on one of the more critical Good Sam sites (higher priority than these forums). That's our sad reality.
In the meantime, try one of the other portals. They seem to be having fewer problems than RV.NET and they don't get the same "Service Temporarily Unavailable!" errors.
Good luck. - p220sigmanExplorerIf i click on a link and it doesn't immediately load (I usually have a very fast connection), I just click again. It rarely takes more than 2 clicks and I avoid the error message.
