I bought a chep pvc pipe and cit it down the middle to make a trough. I put my slinky hose in the two pieces stores in the metal bumper. This protects the hose while in storage.
I now have 16 total feet of "trough" that I can put either on the ground or in "option 1".
Usually it is on the ground in the PVC unless I have a long run or need to elevate the hose.
