SF City hall

I already found an RV park but need to go into the city for a wedding at the city hall on a Saturday. Looking for suggestions on logistics such as nearby parking, uber, taxi, safety. Any help would be appreciated. Not familiar with this part of the city. TIA

Which RV park or direction are you traveling into SF from and is mass transit an option you'd consider?

This link might be of use in a general manner:

Since the event will be on a Saturday traffic might not be as much of a hassle.

    By the way beautiful venue!
  • From Pacifica. Want to drive car in the city an find parking near city hall?
  • For work I used to travel to downtown San Francisco often. I would stay in a city outside of SF and travel in daily on BART.

You could take BART from Pacifica to the Civic Center Station near City Hall.

Agreeing that mass transit is easier and more convenient than car driving but understanding that some prefer their wheels.

Pacifica is a b/r community for SF so you can take at least 2 different highways to City Hall: I-280 or 101 both going North. 280 is constantly under construction (last I heard they are talking about rebuilding it completely) but is the fastest route. 101 takes about 20 minutes longer but has less downtime in general. Either road give yourself........about 45-60 minutes travel time to be on the safe side.

Parking? The Civic Center Garage normally has discounts on the weekend and is about 4 blocks away from one of the City Hall's side entrances.

I'll look and see if I can find a link for the garage.

    HTH.
  • Thanks for the great info everyone. The civic center garage is looking good. I researched it.

That's exactly what I used two weeks ago. Very convenient and easy to use. I'd also recommend downloading "Citymapper" to your phone. It's a great app for San Fran transit.
