That's the reason we got the Gel Memory Foam. It doesn't get hot.
Foam is foam most mattress' have at least a 1/2" as vapor barrier. Bottom line is foam doesn't breathe.
We had an "honest" sales guy that gave us the long story of mattress' and his biggest complaint was foam and the cost.
One thing I do know is that at 6'3" and 250 lbs. I require a good mattress!
