Shortened trip.

So, we are headed for Tennessee to visit friends.

Spent the first night below Ellicottville PA.
Yesterday morning, filling up, gas was pouring out onto the ground.
Seems that a flex line had split.

So, sez I, we cannot go on like this.
The wife said we may as well go back home,
(four hours), and get it fixed there.

This morning, I was waiting when my local mechanic showed up,
he said, bring it in,
Two hours later, plus two hundred and thirty dollars,
we are good to go.

So, to-morrow, we will begin phase two of our trip to Tennessee!
  • Could have been many magnitude worse
What if ( the horror!) the fridge had been on propane :)
  • We never leave the house without my tool box.Weighing about 75 lbs. is the only downfall.Having it when you need it - Priceless!!!

It took my Mechanic over an hour to even remove
    the old part.

I used to run around with skinned knuckles,
    being able to hire someone,
    Priceless!!!!
  • Those fueling necks can be a real pain if you ever have to replace one. I speak from experience.
