If that's how you want do spend your money, do it. It is not something you need, but if it is something you want, then do it.
For as little as I use my RV since my wife died, $35,000 would be better spent on an around-the-world cruise with people waiting on me hand and foot most of a year. Or I could spend $10,000, or $100,000, on a much smaller RV that I would use differently, by myself. Or put about $10,000 to $30,000 into converting my relatively new van into just the RV that I need. None of those choices have much to do with economics, it is more about "what do I want to do with the time I have left, or at least the next few years?" I have not yet figured that out.
But if you are sure that the next few years, what you want to do is RV, and you would like to do it in something that appeals to you more than your almost new, perfectly adequate RV, then spend the money on what you want and hope that you get one that turns to be well put together.
