I say go for it. We bought a 2015 fiver when the smaller 2012 felt too small, we wanted 50 amp, bigger bedroom, additional ac unit, and bigger water heater. Most of all we wanted the leveling system. My husband is 76 and I am 70. We are now having fun and are much more comfortable for whatever years we can continue snowbirding! Like you, we felt we could afford it, so we did it!
