I sure am glad to see everyone recommending that you go ahead and buy what you want and enjoy it. i was waiting to see the comment that says it is a bad investment, or a bad choice to spend your hard earned money on that etc.... You've earned it.. Go for it if that's what you want.
Having said that, the quality issues identified by others on new RV's are a concern. If yours is in as good a shape as you describe, and you know all it's issues, etc, might be easier/better to go with what you know.
