I've only used it to tow a small dump trailer. Honestly, it's a PITA to setup especially when changing trailers. To adjust it, you need to turn dials on the bottom or back, so you can't tweak it while driving. The way it works is when you hit the brakes it gradually increases braking until the pre-defined max.
