Orlando, Miami, Hawaii and Las Vegas have an established track record for accepting out of state SNAP, EBT and other welfare cards as payment for vacations. The whole system is a joke and rampant with fraud.
- Dutch_12078Explorer IIIIf it's legal to use the card to pay for housing, then it's probably legal for a campground to accept it for site rent. Particularly in the south, I've seen a number of apparently low income families living long term in TT's, etc., at various campgrounds.

Well said.:) The small corner stores that sell cigarettes and gas are often in the news. They give cash in return for the cards. Often 10-20 cents on the dollar. - peaches_creamExplorerI see "no" problem as long as they also have the "10" year old rule. :S

because they are intended to purchase food. I understand there is a list of "food" that they can't be used for, I believe alcoholic beverages is one.
