X2, we had the Extend A Shower in our old trailer and loved it. The wife modified a regular home shower curtain to fit. New trailer has a stall shower with glass doors.

I still have the OEM shower curtain installed in my eleven year old rig.

Generally I let the plastic dry off and stow it with the strap between uses and when moving. This keeps the pleats from stretching and flattening out.

The latch started having problems catching a couple years ago and recently it stopped altogether. I found that the screw holding the catch to the shower frame was only long enough to go through the plastic of the frame and was very loose. I got a longer screw that bites in to the wood frame behind the plastic shower frame. The head of the screw is a fraction of a millimeter larger than the latch so it also helps to hold the door latched. Now the door/curtain stays closed during use.

If properly maintained and cleaned your curtain should last a long time.

We bought a Extend-A-Shower and couldn't install it because there is a cabinet right next to the shower not allowing it to extend. The only way I could figure to install it was to add blocking and install it so far back into the shower area that it would have only gained us a few inches when extended. Ended up going with a pull:B and curtain and are happy with that.

There are always folks on RV net who spend their time either telling you to search (which I did) or will jump in to correct your spelling. LOL. They alway bring fun to the party.

We removed our accordion before our first season out. Put in a bar and regular curtain. Perfect

Did what Dutchman did and have had no problems at all. Much easier all around. Simple to do too - just some screws to remove!
