Shut off water at home???
When you leave home for a few days, do you turn off the main water valve at your house?

When living in a s&b in Louisiana many years ago the water valve in my washer failed. Fortunately the water flowed down to the floor, under the wall and into the garage. I'm just glad the slab was slightly lower on the garage side. I pulled in to my driveway and saw this "river" flowing out. Never again did I leave for more than a day without turning off the water and water heater. I'm still the same way in my RV.
