Simple extension cord

not sure if you have a residential or rv frig. Regardless, should work OK. One thing to consider is if you have an EMS, you should change the input setting to 15 amps otherwise with the 50 to 15 adapter, it with think it's on 30 amp service and will try to power things ( i.e. battery charger) up to the 30 amp limit and will trip the 15 amp breaker in the house.

Does it have detachable shore power cord?

Couple points I should have mentioned in the very beginning..Blame it on inexperience I guess!
1) coach is ALL ELECTRIC.
2)50AMP service

Like said above, turn off breakers for the A/Cs, water heater and microwave. The BIG problem is that it often WON'T trip a breaker. What usually fails first is one end or the other of the extension cord,. The extra draw can easily turn a wall outlet in the house to toast before a breaker trips.

Have done it. Run fridge on propane to lessen load on cord
I used a 100' 12 Ga Extension cord from Sears/K-Mart but alas those are hard to find. (The cord has a push button on the outlet so it "Grips" what's plugged into it. You can get 12ga extension cords at Lowe's Mennards and Home Depot however I do suggest 12 ga.

In my case I have a plug in converter so ONLY the converter was connected. the other stuff that uses 120 volt ate off the inverter (Televisions, Computers, related electronics some fans and the kitchen stuff but it ate generator power)

Maybe another plan. Is the fridge hardwired, or does it plug into a outlet in the camper?
Use a heavy cord, work it in thru any opening, edge of slide out, window or door. Plug fridge into the cord, and no other load will be on the cord...

Simplest answer with no chance of damage to other electronics.

(I do have all that adapters 50-15 and did run just the fridge full time until I did the 30amp to the carport)

OP will need a good source of 12 volts DC for the refer control. He could drain his battery(ies) enough to shut down the rig.

I often do run from a single 15 amp shore power circuit. I have used up to 250 feet of #10 wire--but that is over kill for just the fridge and converter.

Another (more expensive) route is to have a hybrid inverter/charger that allows load support. I love mine and would recommend Victron or Outback.
