I've had similar experience to Dutchman sport with the magic eraser. And for the awing Magic eraser makes a floor squeeze mop with a handle that does magic on the awning. probably would do the same on roof's or any large surface.
BTW magic eraser is malamine foam. Remember to old melamine dinnerware that was indestructable? or formica laminate? Guess they found another use for the stuff.
Magic eraser abrasive properties are similar to about 5000 grit wet/dry sandpaper. However the abrasive is not near as hard as wet/dry paper so it doesn't harm harder surfaces as easily.
