Single camper for workamping?

We just met a single lady at Manatee Springs State Park that is workcamping there. She said it took her a couple of years to get in but she loves it.

We've met several singles volunteering or couples where only one works they usually do 32 hrs though not always.

We see lots of single work campers in the Oregon State Parks system. The only difference is they ask for 30 hours a week for a single vs 20 hours each for a couple. Many of us often do way more because we love what we do.

I've done single camphosting for several years and no problems.

National Park Service prefers couples for volunteer work because they get twice as much work for the same RV site. Many singles just work twice as many hours.

I workcamped for 8 years without any problem. Also volunteered for National Park Service and never an issue being by myself with my dog!
