Hi I'm a single mother of three children that has been dreaming of full time RVing for a few years now but since my family thinks I'm crazy I'm reaching out to you guys for your input. With all the research I have done I have learned pretty much everything there is to know about RVing full time except if there's any other single parents out there that do the same. I know it's ideal to have a two parent household when raising children however that's just not my circumstance. My other question for you guys would be source of income. I am a licensed massage practitioner with a license number from Washington State. I would like to provide a seated chair massage on campgrounds. Are there many others that do the same? Would the campgrounds allow this if I set up at my site? Thank you for everyone that replies your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Dream on! There are all kinds of RV parks, local, state, county etc etc. Based on my experience as a "snow birder", I stay in the larger RV Resort type parks during the winter. These type of RV parks have large numbers of sites. Many of the people are retired and have the $$, time and interest for your service. the only real issue might be that these larger parks have a 55 or older requirement. Some areas with large numbers of these type of resorts in the winter season are southern calif. Indio, Palm Springs, Ariz., Texas. Most people who go to these areas stay for 3 to 4 months a year. Go to the Good Sam Directory on the internet. You will find all the information you need about tall RV kinds of RV parks and specifically the larger Resorts in every state and city. It will also give you information on who to contact.
Where there is a will there is a way.
