We have Sirius in 2 vehicles. We have the minimum, which is still way more than we can ever listen to. The combined cost with tax and all is $28 a month or $14 a vehicle. That's tax and everything.
I think the actual cost is a little over $10 a vehicle for the minimum, then add tax and everything and it comes out to about $14 per vehicle. I have both vehicles set on all those country stations. I listen almost 99% of the time to Bluegrass (XM 61).
Because you let your original subscription expire, you'll need to pay a new activation fee. I work from home about 50% of the time and my wife works from home almost 100% of the time now. So we don't drive very much any more. But, when traveling, vacations, and when we do use the vehicles, it sure is nice! Most everything on over-the-air radio is pretty much garbage in my opinion, especially today's country music. That's why I like the Bluegrass stations so much! It reminds me of country, when "country" was still "country music!"
If you re-activate your subscription, they will try to sell you another subscription for their Sirius stand alone radio you can put in your house. It's also the same price as your automobile, and I think they give you the radio, or it's really cheap. That's something might be worth getting if you really like Sirius. You can take the radio anywhere, even camping, and enjoy it in your camper too.
Also, there is no contract. It's a month-to-month subscription. If you don't pay, they turn you off. Simple!
