Skilled RV workers.
No wonder it's hard to find a newly built RV without issues. http://www.rvbusiness.com/2016/02/elkhart-co-firms-hunting-for-skilled-workers/

If you are in the market for a job, and you are aware that there is a possibility of a pre-employment drug test, maybe you should cut back til you have a job, just sayin. Most companies don't make a secret of drug testing, (Home Depot has a sign on the main entrance doors to their store), old school it was did you show up for the interview in a suit, did you have a pen, did you have your references and previous employers on a piece of paper so you were prepared to fill out the application. New school is are you smart enough to keep clean for a couple weeks so you can pass the pee test.
This is a common misconception. the markers they test for for Marijuana last for months, not weeks.
The logic that is used in so many posts here is very shaky:
One; that if you are using marijuana or a recreational club drug on the weekend as so many young kids do that this means you are addicted and use constantly. There is just nothing that supports that.
Two: Pre Employment Drug Screens keep your employees from using drugs after employment.
Pre employment drug screens only keep people from being employed. Unless a company conducts regular random drug testing of ALL employees all of the time then the Pre Employment drug screen does almost nothing in terms of ensuring that your employees are not using anyway. (And many are)
Three: Background Checks work at keeping bad people out. False. Many insurance companies (who are the main drivers behind the background check craze)have taken background check results to extremes. In many cases now if you have ever bounced a check it may or in some cases result in denial of employment. This is madness. Further in some places if your CREDIT SCORE is bad that keeps you out. If you are behind on your child suport payments, the list of absurdity goes on. It's not about just theft from employers.
One of the main problems I see is the trend to use computerized applications, tests and background checks in lieu of actually sitting down with someone and interviewing. the de-personalization of the hiring process is hurting the chances of many who dont do well with tests and computers or have other minor issues in their lives but might make really good employees.
Lastly I am willing to bet that among all the self rightousness that I read here on this subject there is not a one of you you hasnt at one time stolen something from an employer or at one time or another in your life used a recreational drug. I will also bet that many of you drink to excess at times. People in glass houses....
Well now you went and did it. You brand yourself as one of those "dope heads". Yes siree they knew it all a long that yer onea them types. Learn to goose step and take marching orders or stay the heck out of here. ;)
