We've been at this fulltiming thing now in our 14th year. Given that we've been in close proximity, even boondocking, close to someone for at least half of that time, what's up with the slamming? ...

We were camping in British Columbia once in an old van with a sliding door that HAD to be slammed to close.
At about 1 am my wife got sick and I had to take her to the local hospital. I tried to close the door about six times first quietly then harder and harder until it finally latched.
I bet my neighbors REALLY appreciated it when I finally drove off.
