Slammers
We've been at this fulltiming thing now in our 14th year. Given that we've been in close proximity, even boondocking, close to someone for at least half of that time, what's up with the slamming? ...

I hope Ford didn't change the way they did things. In the past, all factory alarms would disarm when you opened the door with the key, or put the key in the ignition.
I agree with you. My two current vehicles, if the remote battery is dead, no big deal. Some cars, if the battery dies in the remote, you are just plain hosed, as some models don't even have a keyhole on the driver's side anymore.
