We've been at this fulltiming thing now in our 14th year. Given that we've been in close proximity, even boondocking, close to someone for at least half of that time, what's up with the slamming? ...

Maybe it is not so much about the noise but when it happens & the frequency of it happening. Late at night or very early in the morning all sounds seem amplified. It does get irritating when you are trying to sleep & those around you have little consideration about the noise they make.
